About
Cote of Paint

Wine culture, reimagined for gamers, creators, and anyone who’s done with the rules.

Who We Are

Level Up Your Wine Game (...without playing by their rules)

You know what "indie" means in gaming? Freedom. Artistic spirit, creative control, and (my favorite) zero obligation to the industry machine. Small team, big vision, and absolutely no rulebook. And honestly? I’ve always hated rulebooks.

So that's us, but for wine.

Cote of Paint is an indie wine brand: BIPOC and woman-owned, built around community, play, and the genuinely radical idea that wine was always supposed to be fun. Not how it’s “supposed to be”. We are serious about what's in the bottle and extremely unserious about basically everything else. Welcome!

Our Mission

No rulebook required

Traditional wine culture has a rulebook. We didn't write it, it wasn't written for us, and we're not following it. Just like the indie gaming world proved you don't need a massive studio to make something worth playing — we're proving you don't need exclusive wine culture to make wine worth drinking.

Play Is the Point

Game nights, friendly competition, passing the controller — that's the energy we bring to every bottle.

Room for Everyone

The wine ecosystem is as diverse as the gaming one. We're here for all of it.

The Wine Still Has to Slap

Indie means intentional. Every single thing you experience and taste with Cote of Paint is on purpose.

Our Story

Insert Coin🕹

Once upon a time there was a kid at a friend's house, passing the controller, drinking too much Kool-Aid, having the time of her life. She grew up, discovered wine, and thought — wait, why doesn't this feel like that? So she built Cote of Paint: BIPOC and woman-owned, inspired by games, gaming culture, and every hang that never needed a dress code to be worth remembering.

But now instead of Kool-Aid, we have wine.
